Products We Love
When our immune system is functioning well, it can effectively protect us from illnesses and it knows NOT to attack our own healthy cells.
The best way is to nourish our immune system with plenty of phytonutrients, polysaccharides, and antioxidants from wholesome plant foods, in addition to good sleep, moderate exercise, and stress management.
Nutritional Immunology products are wholesome foods that have been specifically formulated to nourish our immune system and all crucial bodily systems. As they are NOT herbal medicine or isolated vitamins, there are NO side effects or risk of overdose.
BEYOND ORGANIC + SAFE FOR ALL AGES: Every ingredient and final product undergoes thousands of tests for pesticides, toxins, heavy metals, and DNA damage.

1. Immune Modulation - Polysaccharides
Polysaccharides are compounds that can support our body’s natural immune modulation process. Immune modulation restores balance of our immune function by stimulating a weak immune system and calming it when it’s overactive, a crucial component in autoimmune conditions.
Certain mushrooms are distinguished food sources of immune modulating polysaccharides such as β-Glucans (beta-glucans).
E-MUNITY contains a combination of specific polysaccharides that have been formulated in precise amount to work in synergy for the immune system.
E-MUNITY is NOT the same as mushroom powders, mushroom extracts or mushroom supplements widely available in the market.
With mushroom powders and extracts, there’s no way to how much polysaccharides we’re getting. Without the right amount, there is no effect on the immune system.
2. Immune Support - Cactus
Old cactus pads are perhaps the most nutritious plant food on earth, containing at least 10,000 different phytonutrients. For comparison, an orange has about 176 phytonutrients.
To survive in extreme climate condition, cactus plant stores abundant nutrients in its pads. But getting these nutrients out of the pads is extremely difficult.
First, cactus pads are hand picked in the early morning when nutrients are most optimal. Spines are removed by hand, a labour-intensive process. The pads are then cold pressed and triple filtered to produce clear, microbe and contaminant-free cactus juice.
RHAPSODY contains preservative and microbe free cactus juice formulated with American ginseng.
The ginsenosides in American ginseng benefit the nervous system and overall immune system health.
3. Daily Nutrition Support
Getting enough nutrition from a wide variety of plant foods every single day is non negotiable to nourish your immune system for better chances of recovery.
SOYGREEN and PHYTOFIT contain wholesome, non-GMO soybeans as their main ingredient.
Soy is a complete food because it contains all essential nutrients that our body needs, with 2x as much protein as meat, 3x of chicken eggs, and 12x of cow’s milk. It also contains calcium, folate, fiber, and a multitude of vitamins and phytonutrients. Soy isoflavones are also beneficial for improving alopecia and stimulating hair growth.
SOYGREEN and PHYTOFIT provide good amounts of fiber, plant protein, and phytochemicals without fat, cholesterol, or animal hormones. It’s an excellent and delicious alternative to dairy and non-dairy milk.
The main ingredients in SOYGREEN are wholesome, non-GMO soybeans, banana, psyllium husk, and 10 different types of green vegetables — broccoli, asparagus, kale, leaf lettuce, snow peas, romaine lettuce, spinach, green pepper, mustard greens, and radish leaves.
4. Topical Care
Topical treatment DOES NOT address the root cause of Alopecia Areata, which is the immune system. However, in our experience, essential oils can provide some help with nourishing the scalp and hair from the surface as we work to nourish the body from the inside out. It is not the primary focus of our recovery journey, but a good supplemental one.
I wrote more about what essential oils we chose for managing Alopecia here.
We use ginger juice as a non-oily option of carrier for the essential oils.
I wrote in greater detail about using ginger to help manage Alopecia due to its natural JAK inhibitor compounds.
You can use freshly squeezed ginger juice, or good quality store-bought variety. We use organic ginger juice from The Ginger People as a convenient option. The ingredients are organic ginger and citric acid (as natural preservative, derived from non-GMO sugar cane).
